Development of an easy-to-use measurement solution for endoscopic procedures for VTM Technologies
Background
The use of an endoscope does not provide any sense of scale. It is therefore impossible for physicians to accurately measure and compare pathologies. Today, physician estimates are based on acquired expertise and approximate scale, and are inherently inaccurate. This leads to erroneous diagnoses, suboptimal treatment and follow-up - a vast problem in many types of endoscopic procedures.
